Humanity is overrated. I ain't going back to it. I've been this way far longer than I ever was human.

There is... little difference... when you think that... you were once human... if you... were not. It does not change... what you are now. Being human... does not give you... humanity.

I am the sea. Or the smallest, meanest part of it.

Nature... is not... cruel. It is only... itself.

Nature is cruel. It can be kind, but don't you go underestimating her. It would spell your doom.

Nature is... impassive. It does not care... to be kind... or cruel. It knows only... how to live.

I have seen... the heart... of the green. It seem cruel... only because... it does not care... for human sensibility. Life is short... but the green... is timeless.

You are... in love. You might... take care... that your love... has the humanity... you claim... you lack. It is... very human... to love.

I am undeserving of it. But not because I am what I am. It were my choices.

You can always... make different... choices. It is never... too late... to learn... humanity.

I am dead. I have lived decades more'n any man, I have lost my pet, my ship, my crew, my love, if I ever had it, and now my freedom.


Yeh know nothing of it.

I am... a plant... that thought it was... a man. Nothing... is what I... thought it was. I have... been living... a lie. Death... is long. There is... time.

Yeh don't want to be a man. Men only feel heartbreak and are good for little else.

Men... feel love... hope... joy... despair. They are... capable... of much.
